Our Story

The Foundation has consistently stepped in to provide financial support to marketing and outreach initiatives— ensuring the library remains visible, relevant, and deeply engaged with the community.

Recognizing the need for a sustainable, ongoing source of funding for these
efforts, Slone Williams, Community & User Engagement Division Manager (CCPL), advocated for a dynamic solution— establish a permanent, virtual-inventory merchandise store designed to generate ongoing funding for this essential mission. The Foundation embraced this idea, and thus the Cobb Library Shop was born.

All revenues from the shop go to the Foundation, bolstering the library’s marketing and outreach capabilities. It’s an inspired fundraising model that expands the library’s brand and presence in a new, engaging way.

What to Expect

The shop offers a variety of collections—each filled with unique, fashion-forward, library-themed designs across apparel, accessories, and home essentials. From playful t-shirts to cozy throw blankets, each piece showcases our signature logo or beloved characters like Dewey and Rita.

Best of all, we’re offering the community and staff the opportunity to submit designs or ideas for future collections and collaborations. The possibilities truly are endless, and we're excited to bring this new dimension of library engagement and pride to the community we love and serve.

What is the Cobb Library Shop?

The Cobb Library Shop is the official store of the Cobb County Public Library. The Cobb Library Foundation powers the store.

Every purchase supports programs and initiatives at the Cobb County Public Library.

Things to know before submitting artwork

Artwork submitted will remain the intellectual property of the artist, until it is officially selected for use.

If chosen, the Library will become the sole owner of the design so it can be shared widely and celebrated through our shop.

If an artwork is not selected, all rights remain with the artist, and the Library will not use or retain the work in any way.

Where does the money from my purchase go?

Proceeds fund library materials and special programs, such as the Summer Reading Program, the bookmobile, Teen Book'd, and more.

Can I suggest a product for the shop?

Can I change or cancel my order after it’s placed?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Can I pick up my order instead of paying for shipping?

No, there are no pickup options available. We use a third-party vendor to produce and fulfill all orders, so shipping is required.

How long does shipping take?
